EOTO played their usual April Twin Cities show at the Cabooze last Friday, and they made sure to deliver the goods to the sold-out crowd!  It was nice to see Michael Travis using a Les Paul with a Midi pickup and I saw more laptops than usual up on the stage too, which only means more Eotological craziness.  This sort of musical progress allows EOTO to experiment and delve into serious improvisational electroica.

Looks like the people over at San Francisco’s A+E interactive have the lowdown on some dates at the Greek on August 5-7.

By Jim Harrington
Bay Area News Group Music Critic
I’ve got some news that will thrill local Phish-heads: The acclaimed Vermont band will play three San Francisco Bay Area dates this summer. Specifically, I’m being told that Phish will perform Aug. 5-7 at the UC Greek Theatre in Berkeley.
That’s the first confirmed batch of dates in what should be another monster summer for the group. These Greek shows should be among the toughest tickets of the season – the Greek holds some 8,000 fans, as opposed to the 22,000 that can fill Shoreline (where Phish usually plays in the Bay Area).
I don’t have any details as to on sale dates or prices. But that will come whenever Phish finally announces its tour. I can’t wait for these shows.

On Saturday the 20th Trey Anastasio and his crew brought their A game and tore up the State Theatre.  A friendly crowd and great venue made the show a great one!  Set one began with Last Tube and TAB decided to keep it friendly with a list of popular Trey tunes.  Second set was smoking right off the bat and built up to a stellar Mr. Completely and Black Dog. First Tube ended out the show. Take a look below for the video.

There is a lot of buzz about possible shows in Telluride, CO in mid august.  Some info can be found Here.  Promoters in the area seem to be well on their way to making it happen.
